Dendrobium orchids

Dendrobium orchids can be found in many different parts of the world -- dendrobium orchids come from South East Asia, but they cover an area that covers Northern India all the way to the islands off the East coast of New Guinea and Australia to Polynesia. In fact, new species of dendrobium orchids are still being found in New Guinea – there are already over a thousand known species of dendrobium orchids. This makes dendrobium orchids the second largest orchid genus in the world.

If you are wanting some dendrobium orchids for your own home, consider growing nobile dendrobium orchids. This type is one of the easiest to grow, but it may not bloom regularly. Australian dendrobium orchids, like the kingianum or near relatives are also relatively easy to grow. There are so many different types of dendrobium orchids to choose from. Be sure that you study up on them before you decide to purchase a dendrobium orchid for yourself.
