Q: How long do orchid blooms generally last for?

A: When properly taken care of, it is possible to have orchid blooms last for up to 6 months! Phalaenopsis orchid blooms last for 2 to 3 months. Cymbidium orchids stay in bloom for 8 or more weeks. Cattleya orchids tend to last only a few weeks. Dendrobium orchids last 8-10 weeks. Ladyslipper orchids last about 4-6 weeks.
